OFFICIAL Going to Dallas Thread

Are tickets available to the general public? How many fans are they allowing?

Wife and I are driving down friday. I had been keeping an eye on SeatGeek for tickets for a while before this past Wednesday I found some seats in section 412 (50 yard line) for $150 a piece. I checked again this morning and now the cheapest seats anywhere in the building are close to $200 with 412 going for $300+. It was so helpful to be pretty certain after beating TX we were going to the Title game to be able to buy early.

Wife and I will be there. Regret not getting tickets last week, so paid 140/ea instead of 85/ea... overall not too bad since I was able to book flights there for 95/ea on spirit. Flight back was a bit more, but still not bad.
What site did you find tickets for $140? Are they in the nosebleeds?

I bought 6 last Friday for $180 a piece after fees.

Good point on the fees. They were $180 after fees on seatgeek... darn fees always catch me by surprise.

I get that they have the right to claim a fee, but, man, they are expensive. Especially for a digital ticket...
Agreed. Wish they would display the final price on the site (fees included). Now here’s to hoping we are surrounded by cyclone fans (sec 447)!!!

Bought tickets on SeatGeek the day they went on sale to the public though a link on the Big 12 site. This was before the Texas game. Got great seats in Section 350 at face value. Won't know for sure which of our seats we will use until after I find out this week about what we get from the ISU Ticket Office.

Flying down Friday (maybe Thursday if I can make it work) and coming back on Sunday.

LandJet seems like a cool option. Comparable in cost to flying if you max its capacity, but with some nice extras. No baggage fees. Bring tailgate gear. Bring your coolers into the cabin. Local transportation in Dallas included (pay only for miles).
