I hope he comes back next year. If he can get even better and LaPorta continues to improve, than they will be pretty deadly once Petras is done.

Is Beyer the best TE in the state or do you disagree with PFF?
TEs are generally judged in the red zone. How many TDs does he have?
9 receptions in 6 games would put this to bed for any rational (I know you aren’t) fan.
But I guess... another underutilized talent by the Ferentz’.
I guess PFF doesn't value TDs then. PFF has Beyer as the highest ranked TE in the state, and there is no way they could be wrong on this.
I mean I like PFF but it's not like it's the only way to judge a player. I mean I reference statistics 25x more than I do PFF
Really glad this site has laxed up on their strict Sagarin SOS and PFF player rating policies. Now those are up for debate like everything else.

You always used to agree with PFF. I wonder what has changed? Also, how else can you judge a TE fully since a large part of what they are doing is also blocking? There aren't any stats for that.
Because blocking isn’t something that matters for a TE.
