If Iowa State wins they get no credit because they are expected to. If they were to somehow lose its a bad look to lose to any Big Ten West team not named Wisconsin.

You either want to be an underdog or play a big name team in a bowl game (ideally both) IMO

Can you imagine the amount of time CyTwins would have to spend locked in his basement if they lost to Iowa in a bowlgame? Usually about a week for a September game. That would be at least a 2 weeker.

It was an absolute perfect opponent. Nothing to lose everything to gain. Definitely a missed opportunity
