He wouldn't? How often does a coach leave their school for another in the conference? Not very often. Why would he take a step down from where he’s currently at by taking the Texas job?

Think about the phone call when he called the MBB coach about what it’s like out there. So you chased the money, went to a crappy organization and you’re now in Lincoln? Good to know. Next call would be JP to say, Lincoln ain’t happening.I don’t know but I really hope people in Nebraska keep throwing his name out there like he’s in play because it’s damn hilarious. They can all suck my chode, he’s not going to Lincoln.
Defense mechanism, got really bad after Fred. Although, Prohm's recruiting is dynamite, so that seems to be somewhat working out.I agree but it’s hard to stay relevant if you lose a coach. I think we spend too much time spinning the idea that it’s good for Iowa state if a coach leaves.

I worry about 4 jobs—Michigan, penn state, Michigan state, and notre dame.
Campbell isn’t going to Texas.
That is just one of about 500 reasons he won’t take it.I wouldn't worry about Michigan State or Penn State at all. Michigan State isn't a step up, and Penn State has an absolute horse **** culture.
Michigan, Ohio State, and Notre Dame are the jobs that have concerned me over the years.
Texas is laughable. There is absolutely no way Campbell takes a job that makes him play ISU every year.
Why I don’t think UB would take Michigan now either. Don’t compete directly with what you built. Hard to say why you are better and be taken seriouslyI wouldn't worry about Michigan State or Penn State at all. Michigan State isn't a step up, and Penn State has an absolute horse **** culture.

Not this year, just in general. Those are the 4 jobs I’ve worried about.
Campbell may leave, I don't know, but it won't be to coach at Texas.
So you are saying thats a no for sure. Because I don’t know anybody who wants to live by their in-laws.Certainly hope you are correct that he would not take the Texas job. However, Campbell’s in-laws live in Austin. Just saying......

When you make 3.5 MM you fly them up monthly. Better than dealing with inlaws non stop.I agree, but how important will his wife be in the decision? You would think moving close to her parents might deserve a bit of consideration.
Just adding chum into the water...either SI or Yahoo had him listed as a potential to fill the Lions vacancy, as well.
