All Iowa Football Team---Post Bowl Edition

At least other schools want CMC.... nobody in their right mind would want KF and his racism right now on their campus.

And what is KF's problem this year? He can't even win a football game without having to be a total doosh about it afterwards. He's was all ticked off at PJ after they beat Minny.... and this week he was all ticked off and whining about Nebby too. Such a class act that guy.

Maybe KF shouldn't complain about others when he's been running a racist program for 20 years..... just a thought.

In fairness to Kirk, it was Frost and Fleck.

Most Freshman also have a decent fall though. He didn’t.
With most players (especially QBs), you can tell after a week of practice if they are going to be a difference maker of if they are "just a guy".

Staff could tell Purdy was a superstar his first practice. Not hearing good things early about a qb is usually a HUGE red flag and time to start thinking about transferring.

I heard after the third practice for Purdy he wasn't redshirting and that's when we had Kempt

Sounds like when Tate showed up at Iowa. Everyone including Tate knew he was the most talented QB.
Tate got ****** over playing with that 2005 recruiting class. Man! Imagine if that class lived up to its hype.

Not a bad list. Golston came up big for y'all last week and Linderbaum has just been rock solid. Really wishing we had Downing back from injury already. Ramos is supposedly good to go but I think because Remsburg has been holding up okay in his place that they would rather give him extra time to make dang sure he is good

Tate hardly played with any of the guys in that class. They were 5th year seniors when Iowa won a BCS bowl.

Moeaki
Angerer
Richardson
Eubanks
Calloway
Stross

Also, Greene was in that class.

Huge props to ISU for the win over TX.

Question, I saw a graphic during the game that said with a win ISU would have a 99% chance of playing for the title. I thought they were in if they won in Austin.

What is the doomsday scenario that keeps ISU out of Dallas?

If we lose and fall into a three way tie with OU and OSU. Some of the tiebreakers (like usual) in that scenario could lead to it.

Wouldnt someone other than TX have to finish in 4th for that to happen? Thinking WVU with a win over ISU and finishes 4th in the conference would be the only way it doesnt happen.

I don’t remember exactly but that is one way. What happens is that they take the three and compare until they have one that is deemed the top, then they start over. If OSU is declared #1 (assuming ISU isn’t) then ISU is in since the first tiebreaker is head to head and we beat OU, if OU is first then we are bumped.

Just for an FYI, Kansas needs to beat Texas as one of the 7 things that would need to happen.

I see.

I was thinking a 3 way tie of OU, OSU and ISU could not be broken since they are all 1-1 against each other.

Then they would move to record against the team that finishes in 4th place. If its Texas in 4th then OU and ISU would play in Dallas.

If WVU beats ISU and ends up in 4th then it would be OU and OSU for the title.
