Tough day for EIU hoops hopes

We added Patrick, Bohannon, and in the near future Nunge. Atleast Two solid players, it's hard to argue even for you. I'd take that over the losses of pemsl, Kreiner (did play a big role), and Evelyn
Keegan also looks like a solid addition but he's a freshman so i won't count on his strong start continuing when we get serious competition but i do think I've seen enough to say he's already an upgrade to pemsl. Not saying much i know

Does adding those players address Iowa's weak areas? The offense was great, but the defense was pretty bad.

I think it more enhances the offense even further but i don't think it effects the defense much. It will be average to below regardless and we will play a lot of zone. I think we have more active guys that can effect shots in patrick, Keegan and Nunge.

Whoa whoa whoa. What two solid players are listed here lol

18.5 minutes total is enough to know if he's better than Pemsl?

Well Bohannon obviously. Then i think by end of year you will like what you see out of Patrick. I think he will be a 6th man of the year candidate in the conference if he stays healthy.
I love the optimism. I hope he stays healthy, kid has battled to be able to play. I'm not sure how easy it is to gain weight for him but I think he needs a few more lbs.

So we're counting Patrick McCaffrey as a solid CBB player already? That seems pretty premature. I assume he's going to struggle on defense and hes an awful shooter

Agreed but having said that i was suprised how much he added in 1 offseason.

This is completely uneducated, but I would have concerns about Bohannon taking shots away from Fredrick.

OK. Love the passion.
Its as much as indictment against pemsl as it is praise for Keegan. Pemsl added some toughness but that was it. He had no Basketball skillset. He's not going to play much for Virginia tech. I watched them beag Villanova and he probably played 5 minutes of gametime
