Tough day for EIU hoops hopes

Not going to happen, but man would it be just the sweetest of all things to have a number 2 seeded Iowa get knocked out by a 15 seed this year in the tourney.
 
Gonzaga is likely best team in America ...KU losing by 12 to this team makes big 12 looking bad? KU always drops early game to high ranked team...and by March they are winning another conf title.

as for Iowa..Garza is a stud no doubt..looks to me like he’s put on about 20lbs..not sure that’s a good thing long term. Without Garza Iowa doesn’t sniff ncaa..and it’s not a question. But he’s there so..

my question for Iowa and it’s early so hard to tell yet, but the depth in back court. Toussiant is it..Pm and Nunge are forwards..

I’ll be interested to see if Nunge starts when he returns..If Fran were smart he wouldn’t..

Nunge won’t start. He’ll be in the same role Kriener was. In the backcourt, you have Toussiant and Weezy can play the wing. I think some of the freshman are pretty good. Perkins is a good defender and has some hops. Ulis is a silky smooth ball handler. For all around depth, I like what’s there. Keegan Murray was a pleasant surprise and getting Nunge back will be helpful. I doubt the freshman center, Ogundele, will play very much this year. He has quite a bit of weight to lose, but since he’s working with Luka’s dad on that, I think he’ll be in good shape by next year.

It was nice with no EIU trolls around with the mess of a football program. I see they are back since basketball season has started.
