As far as parking goes, you'll be able to find places basically anywhere. It all depends on what you want to pay. Parking for football is expensive, so I usually just park closest I am comfortable with and pay the $15 or $20 or whatever.
As far as food goes, how much do you want to spend and what kind of food do you like to eat?
I usually park at the Mall of America and take the lightrail to the Metrodome. The lightrail costs a couple of bucks, but you avoid parking fees, traffic, etc... Plus there are plenty of places to eat in and near the MOA.
Bingo! Gets a little packed after the game but it takes away a LOT of the headache leaving Minneapolis around all of the celebrating Vikings fans. 20some minute ride but it was well worth it in my opinion.
If you can get there for breakfast, there is a place called Hells Kitchen, near the Hilton, get the Lemon Ricotta pancakes...
Yes, that place is very popular. It's owned by the same people that own Creative Kidstuff, so it's great for families, because they have all kinds of toys on the tables for kids to play with.
If you are into MLB Autographs head there around 10am when your favorite team is in Minny, all the players go there...
