Amazon pharmacy

My guess is that there is barely any money to be made like most of amazon outside of their cloud servicies but if some expansion of federalized healthcare happens, they want a piece of that government pie.

I already have that with Walgreens and Express Scripts... Guessing they are competing on price?

I could see amazon having a higher profit margin at the same price due to already handling their own shipping, giving them the ability to compete on price.

Lets hope theyre a little better about not mixing in chinese knockoff garbage than the rest of amazon is.
Where's the fun in that? Maybe your blood pressure meds get switched out with some Chinese vicodin. That's fun, right?

1. I didn't know other places shipped you medication. Didn't even know that was possible honestly.
2. I get the appeal of doing it through Amazon if you do have regular medications, because a lot of people order other things regularly on Amazon too.
3. I use Hy Vee because it's right by my house, that said I'd prefer to just never go there.

I tried signing up for this earlier today, but got caught up trying to gather my insurance information. I'll try it again tomorrow to check it out.

For someone who has Diabetes, I could see the value in this. While I have used Walgreens as my pharmacy, I have had previous troubles getting the mail order stuff to work. I will probably give this a try to see how I like it. The biggest thing for me would be the promptness of the delivery, especially being on maintenance drugs like insulin where depending on your diet, you may need supplies sooner than expected.

I've had a canadian pharmacy sending my mother eye medication for the last 10 years that not covered by Medicare. It's a pain to get the doctor to get them a prescription but it saves her a couple hundred a month.

Until a couple of years ago, I was very skeptical about online pharmacies. It seemed to me that it would be faster to go to the pharmacy and buy the right drug. But recently I came down with a cold with a very high temperature and couldn't even leave the house to buy my medicine. Good thing I started looking for online pharmacies and came across the PillPal website. I decided to order the medicines I needed and was pleasantly surprised. Delivery was about 30 minutes after ordering, and it was faster than I would have walked there. So now I buy almost everything online.
