All Iowa Football Team---Post Bowl Edition

Let's look at from an unbiased point of view:

Coach A: team is currently a disaster. Riding a QB he chose over one of the best in the country with no change in site. Will carry a cloud of racism over his head for the rest of his life. Currently is being sued by 12 former players. Promotes nepotism.

Coach B: considered one of the best young coaches in the country. Not racist. Team is currently ranked #17 in the country

Which one you choosing @CyHawk1605?

In Iowa City racism is the new black (and gold).
It's mind boggling to me. If Campbell did what Ferentz did I would want him gone. Iowa fans are so brainwashed they are still saying they'd rather have Kirk Ferentz as their head coach than Matt Campbell. Truly incredible

Been thinking about why for awhile. I think deep down most know he needs to go but are worried about the legacy. Kirk getting fired in disgrace basically wipes out two decades of what was a joyous history.

Honestly his legacy is shot. You can't run a program the way he does and expect people to respect you outside of your bubble

When it comes to the problems yes I would take Campbell. When it comes to coaching ability, I’ll take KF.

How many 10 win season does Campbell have? Hell, how many 9 win seasons does he have? How many years does he have less then 5 losses?
Do you think all things are on level ground between Iowa and ISU?
Money, history, facilities, exposure?

Who do you think accomplishes more with those factors? OU has been in the playoffs 4 of the last 5 years. Campbell legit could have beaten them 3 times if you look at the 2pt conversion.
That's my answer.

Who in the Big 10 is historically as bad as Kansas?
Maryland, Nebraska, and Rutgers have been comically bad since joining the B1G. Illinois, Indiana, Northwestern, Purdue, and Minnesota have always been somewhere between garbage and hot garbage, depending on the year (except for Illinois - they have perpetually been Kansas-level bad).
