All Iowa Football Team---Post Bowl Edition

Got it

Ferentz replaced the greatest football coach in the state of Iowa history. Lol stop it
FIFY.
And even so, replacing the bad teams that were the late 90’s teams was no small task as we saw. Campbell also inherited a team that had decent talent from Rhoads.

Are you saying Ferentz replacing Hayden Fry was a more difficult job than Campbell replacing Paul Rhoads?

I’m not saying that, just that Ferentz inherited a worse team but he did get the benefit of it being Iowa who had a solid history behind them.

Ferentz has never won a conference championship actually. Both years he had a chance at it they had a different Big Ten school represent the conference in the BCS as conference champions

Michigan beat Iowa the prior year so claiming a share of the title is bogus. Going 8-0 makes you a Co-Champ even though the Buckeyes would of beaten them if they had played.

But I agree Ferentz will never bring a title to Iowa City.

If the AP recognizes it, it is real.

Not really. I think the AP said Iowa got in the tourney the year the lost the play in game. At some point you have to use common sense
ISU fans are the only ones that believe this. Co Champs is still a conference championship no matter how you spin it.

When the Big 10, AP, and NCAA recognize it, it makes it a championship. This is just jealousy arising from you.

Lol you're right I'm so jealous of Iowa's football program right now. Especially with those two championships* in 2002 and 2004!

That’s an insane stat. Phil Parker is an amazing Coordinator. One of the best in the business
Purdue without their head coach was calling plays to burn Iowa's secondary.
Some QB named Aiden O'Connell burnt them multiple times.
Look at how mediocre of coverage this was

The prior year Iowa said they got beat by Purdue because they "chucked the ball up."

Teams aren’t allowed to have bad first games? Because ISU was allowed to play poorly week one and now they are ok?
