Hawk Report “official thread”

Didn't watch the game last night, but caught the end of Rutgers/ Illinois. Everything from the jerseys to the play on the field made me feel like I was watching a high school game

To be fair, it looks so far like the Hawks might have a respectable team, except that QB, even against lowly Minnesota he is 9 of 18 with another interception, 111 yards and a QBR (per ESPN) of 36.2. I'm sure they will have someone better by next September. But yeah I think otherwise they are playing pretty well now. With a halfway decent QB they could be 4-0 right now, IMO.

They have a really solid OL. I'm not sure they're really all that good anywhere else. Purdue and Northwestern are average teams and Iowa couldn't beat them.

What if I told you Minnesota had never been good in the past decade?

Give our CPR teams (that got CPR fired) those schedules and we hit the same win totals. It's been smoke and mirrors.

He'll still be the starting QB next year
