I just feel like you should be able to understand your own cadence and be able to distinguish between your own and some opposing defensive lineman.

If you had ever played the game you'd know the offense is anticipating the signal not reacting to it. So if a defender barks at the right moment the offense will jump.

Yep. Iowa clearly better and won comfortably. Makes watching football this weekend all that much better I'm sure.
Yep. Wins are signs of improvement and I’m excited to see how the team can finish. Maybe if we get some help, we could make a run to the B1G title game. Who knows? Crazier things have happened and it’s 2020. I’m excited to see it play out.

Wins are also a sign of just having played Minnesota.

But seriously, I know Minnesota’s defense is horrible, but Iowa’s O line was absolutely destroying their front 7. Just mauled them.

This is what I’m really happy about. The o-line has struggled these last few years so to see this is a welcome sight.

Iowa actually helped Minnesota’s ypc average. Minnesota was giving up 7.3 ypc on the season Iowa had 6.7. As much as it looked like Iowa was opening huge holes, Minny’s front 7 is just that bad. Goodson’s career game was actually the least efficient a starting RB has been against Minnesota this season.
