All Iowa Football Team---Post Bowl Edition

Allen has been really good this year actually. He's known for a blocker and I'm assuming LaPorta isn't (hence Beyer playing a lot) but Allen Already has 173 yards and two TDs
When we run, it’s with a two tight end set usually so both LaPorta and Allen are in.

I think that's pretty close.

I agree with all those plays above. Also, no more damn screens or the stupid wildcat. To win this weekend, I think we need to play the LB’s closer to the LOS to be ready to get on Ibrahim. We were able to limit Minny last year but that was also with an elite defense. I think we will win, but I’m still worried.
Yeah Iowa's defense is a shell of itself from last year and same goes for Minnesota. This is a huge game for both programs as neither one wants to end up 1-3 to start the year off.

Nobody talks about him because he is a walk-on but Schweiger has been ISU’s best OL this year. He is good.

Hmm interesting. Did you see the Iowa game? What did you think about it?
I did yes. Hard to know what to take from it. Michigan State looks, and I firmly believe, so bad. So really all it told me is Iowa pounded on a team they should have. Petras didn't look any better that before. Oline seemed to play better though

Accuracy can be developed he’s got a strong arm but his accuracy is his problem. I honestly don’t know what to really think with him. If you had to ask me, I’d take let Padilla get some time in games this year, he reminds me a bit of Drew Tate.
It can be yes, but even Stanley said he was never made to work on mechanics while at Iowa. Let alone we had been hearing that same story about Stanley for 3 years. He never got better. I just wouldn't put a lot of hope into that

I still take LaPorta over Allen. Less drops, more yards. Enyi is good, it’s just tough to take off Nixon or Golston because they both have been really good.
Look I like Allen too, but no way I could put him in the list. He is a fantastic blocker. But ever time he gets the ball or it is thrown his way, he almost like freaks out and trips over himself. As if he isn't used to his long big body. It's so strange to me.

I’m not surprised with the defensive regression. You lost an all American at DE, both starting DT’s, 2 LB’s with Welch graduating and Colbert sitting out, a great safety, and a really good corner. That is a ton of loss.

I saw someone posted this on Twitter. This is from the ISU athletic forum thing. This is sick.
(Note: I don’t believe this reflects on the ISU fan base as a whole.)

Why is don johnson an ISU fan and not a MN or Nebraska fan? Seems to be assumptions there. Have a hard time believing any Iowan (hard to believe any sane person in fact) would wish that at all especially with kids they probably know being in the hospital.

I have no clue but Idk how anyone could ever say that. That is disgusting.

It's pretty well documented that Iowa State fans hate sick children...

Just remembered, Iowa has been getting called in a couple games now for imitating the snap. Is this something Iowa coaches their players to do? Or is 54 just doing it on his own?
