Help - Pick 1:

Tim Hightower (Cardinals) vs. the Eagles
Willis McGahee (Ravens) vs. the Bengals
Derrick Ward (Giants) vs. the Redskins

I'd almost go Ward.

Depends what you need. Hightower is probably good for 10 carries, 20 yards (and a cloud of dust) and 1 TD (probably). The risk you take is not getting the TD.

Ward should get 50-70 yards outside chance at a score, I think he plays a lot as they rest Jacobs and blow out the Skins. Somethings wrong in Washington ... its not Portis, but everything else isn't clicking.

McGahee is all about risk ... a guy in our league is ready to kill him because hes sat/started him on the wrong weeks and the Ravens have been real closed lipped about if he's playing or not. Go for it if you really think he's going to get playing time ... but listen to the injuries reports closely - just assume he's always Questionable.

Exactly what you stated is my dilemma. Will Hightower get a TD? Will Ward start or at least get some carries? Will McGahee show at all? (I have also started / sat McGahee on the wrong weeks and his is really ******* me off b/c of it!)

Like I said, I think Ward is the safest play. Jacobs is still dinged up and if I'm not mistaken Ward normally recieves 10-12 carries even when Jacobs is healthy.

Are you locked for the playoffs yet?

yeah - plus that NYG o-line are BEASTS. Even though the redskins are pretty good at stopping the run, i'd say ward is the best bet

Ronnie Brown
Meweldee Moore
Tim Hightower

Why --- Detroit and Phili can't run the ball and Benson is hit or miss.

Never bench westbrook. He is a vital part of the pass offense as well. The whole offense runs through westbrook. can't bench him... even if he is coming off a bad week.

I was so excited when I got Westbrook with the 9 pick and he has not lived up to expectations. That team is not right, right now.

Pick 2:

Marshawn Lynch
Larry Johnson
Stephen Jackson
Darren McFadden
Jerious Norwood
Cadillac Williams
Pierre Thomas

Marshawn Lynch (vs. San Francisco)
The last 2 games he's had at least 20 carries and 5 receptions. In their last 2 away games, San Francisco did well against runningbacks but were killed by the QBs (Warner & Romo). San Francisco's away game before that was an east coast trip to the Giants. SF gave up 69 yards and 2 tds to Brandon Jacobs. But the Giants have a very solid offensive line. Something about west coast teams traveling to the east coast.

Larry Johnson (@ Oakland)
He's improved in each of the 2 games since his suspension (67 rush yds, 20 rec yds in week 11, 81 rush yds & 24 rec, yds in week 12). Oakland is the 4th worst rushing defense (160 ypg, 16 td). Oakland just gave up 96 total yds and 1 td to Peyton Hillis. Oakland is actually the 10th best passing defense (Oakland got their revenge on Jay Cutler as he threw for only 204 yds and 0 tds) so Johnson could get a lot of carries. I also read that in 8 games against Oakland Johnson averaged 96 yards and has totaled 11 tds

Darren McFadden is also an intriguing option. He had 164 yds and a td in their first meeting. Only Detroit has a worse rushing defense than Kansas City (165.9 ypg, 19 tds). McFadden healthier now than he has been in the past few weeks. Although he's splitting carries with Justin Fargas, McFadden had both Oakland's rushing touchdown as their goal line back.

I would go with Lynch and Johnson over McFadden just because he's splitting carries with Fargas.
