AP Poll prediction

So, Iowa State lost a game but did not drop out of the ranking, are ranked ahead of a team that beat them (Louisiana) and are the highest ranked 2 loss team in the country. Iowa State has changed the perception a bit. Funny what winning games can do! Beat the Jayhawks!

I thought for sure ISU would drop out since we would likely be the only 2 loss team (I didn't think that OU would enter back into the rankings yet). Last year we were the highest ranked 3 loss team at one point as well. ISU has definitely have turned a corner for national perception to get this respect in the AP. I can only hope that translates to the NFL Draft soon. There's no good reason for us to have the 1st rounder drought we have.

A takeaway from this week's poll is the Big 12 (with 10 teams) has the same number of teams ranked as the ACC and SEC (15 and 14 teams respectively). The only reason the Big Ten (5 ranked teams) has more is because they have only one week under their belt. Nobody knows the true strength of that conference, still ranking based on potential which is stupid.

Edited ACC since they have 15 teams with Notre Dame this year.

ESPN, a fine trusted publication, projects to camping world (now cheez it?) vs Miami or liberty vs Tennessee

wow there's a Fenway Park bowl now?

Yes, but no. Fenway Bowl and Holiday Bowl have already announced they are cancelling this year.

Lord help me, Fenway Bowl is even worse than Pinstripe Bowl, which of course we had to play.

How many Big 12 teams will be in the top 25? and how many receive votes this week? Like everyone else, the Big 10 looked great until the games started.

My guess is 5 and 7. KSU out. Texas and possibly WVU are in. With WVU's loss to TTU, I could see them just out though too. KSU and TCU receive votes.

Not sure how you can keep ISU out of rankings without trolling but this guy somehow did.

Edit: he's trolling. Indiana at #8? Lol
