All Iowa Football Team---Post Bowl Edition

And that is why I no longer gamble. Iowa's offense looked bad to average with a typical Parker defense. I know it was the first game of the year but to quote my buddy Twins, YIKES.

Tough loss for the Clones today but you still have a clear path to the Championship game if you win out.

Sounds like you guys are bad. Disappointed in our offensive game plan today but seriously Oklahoma State is good defensively

I wish I could have watched Iowa lose today.... but the game of the week was being played in Stillwater OK at the same time.

Iowa didn't look good but we all know you can't judge the season by the first game. I wasn't expecting to go undefeated.

You just to Purdue without their best player, starting RB and head coach. Purdue. Not a team getting votes in the preseason poll like Louisiana and had all their guys. Purdue

I get it Purdue isn't good. Iowa isn't going to win many games when they have 10 penalties and lose two fumbles. For whatever reason Purdue gives Iowa fits. Honestly I am pissed Iowa lost but I am also just happy that Iowa is playing. It wasn't to long ago when it looked like the Big Ten might not play. If Iowa loses next week I will just be pissed.

All indications are that Petras is more accurate than Stanley was. Hopefully that leads to a little more consistency at the position. KF’s first year QBs have historically been pretty good, so I’m pretty optimistic that Petras will have a good season.
