I want to follow up on these off the field problems. From my understanding Spearman got arrested for an OWI but it was actually dismissed. What else happened with him or was Ferentz actually not going to play a black player over a charge that was dismissed?

I didn’t know the charge was dropped. And he wasn’t going to play beyond 2014. If you go look at his position, he played MLB. Josey Jewell played the same position. If you want to go the record Spearman>Jewell be my guest.

Yeah from what I'm seeing it's showing an Iowa student (I assume) doing a paper for a student athlete. Not a good look for Iowa if students are writing papers for the athletes
