Never understood why anyone could get excited about any of these lists until we get to finalists. Sounds like "new money" everytime I hear someone brag about this.
Do you even know how to read? I said you take them all and look at what the majority says.
There's only one reputable SOS metric though. I don't need to look at coaches poll to determine how good a team is when everyone uses the AP poll
Alright, I'm getting tired of the SOS, Sagarin, AP talk.. How's Petras been looking? Anyone know anything?
Didn't have a very good scrimmage on Saturday. I think they honestly don't know what to expect from him at the moment based off what I've heard. His teammates like him but the talent level and how he will perform under the lights is the question mark
Why is Sagarin reputable, but the other original BCS computer rankings aren’t reputable? All were used to determine the national championship game, not just Sagarin.
CJB/Ricky Stanzi are the comparisons I keep hearing.
Same reason the AP is reputable but coaches poll isn't. It's universally used for a reason
Really don't know much of anything at this point. He seems to have all the tools, so it will come down to decision making and pocket presence I believe.

Figures honestly. Incredibly weird off season and he's never taken a meaningful snap. Trial by fire but that's what a lot of teams have had to do at numerous positions this year.

Yep, and thus is the nature of CFB in general. Coaches are high on him, but that doesn't mean much to me. I want to see it on the field and then judge for myself. Stanley was pretty raw, but effective and turned out to be pretty good. I'm hoping Petras is less raw and more ready to go.
If the OL keeps on chugging along like they have, he’ll make it another round or two of cuts.
