****Official Class of 2021 Recruiting Thread****

Kind of has a little bit of Adam Haluska in him.

I don't really see that, Haluska was a freak athlete who learned to be a basketball player. This kid is much more polished but isn't as athletic (that's more of a commentary on Haluska's athleticism than Devries, I'd love to see him in an ISU uni).

I've kind of assumed he was going to commit to his dad and Drake. Any reason to think otherwise?

That has been the assumption all along and I haven't seen anything indicating a change other than Creighton being out.

I am curious if the challenge of playing in the Big 12 and on ESPN is tempting him. From the small amount of clips I've seen of him he definitely would be a nice piece for Prohm and a shooter to compliment the roster. I'm not sure he's a Big 12 athlete though? Iniitall thought is he'd be a good 3-4 option/floor spacer for ISU or a 1st team all MVC player for Drake in a couple of years. While I think he'd be a good pickup, he'd be much more impactfull at Drake (+dad). Others that have seen him more would have a better grasp on his game and how much he'd help ISU.

Hopefully seeing how Matty Ice developed into an NBA player is enticing. Remember he couldn't guard a fence post when he got here. Also Naz's development shows shooters will prosper under Prohm.

I think that had more to do with Naz than anything else. Naz played what 3 years under Hoiberg and basically 1 for Prohm? I know he had an injury and sat out a year under Prohm too, but was there much development in that year from where he was his junior year?
