Big 12 Defenses

haven't beaten a team above .500 . Where is all of the SOS talk ?

This defense has played 4 top 50 offenses in yards/play including the 50 time national leader Oklahoma and Tech who is routinely in the top 25 every year in offense. This defense has held ULL had 2 touchdowns (1 in garbage time), TCU to 4 touchdowns (1 meaningless TD as time expired), The nations best offense to 3 TD's (1 on a short field after a turnover) and 1 to Texas Tech.

ISU appears to have a good defense. Rest of league other than OkSt. don't look good on either side of ball. Still super early, but bizarre that UT and OU look so bad.

How so? The Big 12 had a horrible OOC week and then Oklahoma and Texas are clearly not the teams they were expecting. From all accounts, the Big 12 is way down this year.

It's laughable you're using the very first week of football out of pandemic to determine the ability of teams. For example both Iowa State and Kansas State played their first game with nearly a third of their team sitting out for weeks leading right up to the game due to COVID tracing - they played a game in what was effectively their 2nd week of camp. Those games have 0 reflection of the teams' ability - it will be fun to watch those like you squirm during the B10's first week when you'll finally understand.

Was this supposed to be Texas's year or something? OU is the only "disappointing" team this year.

Just saying that the Big 12 is being hated on more than ever this year. Not saying it is right or wrong.

To be fair it's not like Northwestern sucked against all their noncons when they won the division or that Nebraska didnt look outstanding last year after being picked to win the division.

Iowa fans have been trying to say the Big 12 doesn't play defense for years and 60% of the Big 12 is in the top 26 in total defense. Ouch for you

He's an Iowa troll
I haven't been on here in a couple of months and the first post I see is Iowa fans whining about SOS and how the Big 12 is garbage, meanwhile Iowa gets to skip out on Ohio State "yet again" AND doesn't play a team with a heartbeat until November 13.

2/5 of the P5 conferences haven't even played yet so not all of the teams are even included in the rankings so the rankings are very flawed so far.
I mean I think it's fair to say Iowa State has a good defense and there are 4 Big 12 teams ahead of them
