I need to start 3 of these 5 running backs: DeAngelo Williams, Ronnie Brown, Steve Slaton, Willis McGahee, or Chris Johnson.

I'm leaning towards Brown, Slaton, and Johnson. Williams is going to split carries 50/50 with Stewart and McGahee has been a fanatasy nightmare for me this year with the injuries and jumping around with Ray Rice (who I also have). Slaton is hurt but expected to play. What would you guys do?

Brown, Slaton & Williams

For sure Slaton and Brown.

The thing about Johnson vs. Williams is that Williams has had almost 400 yards rushing and 4 TDs the past 4 games - he's hot (but that could always end since nothing in guarenteed).

Johnson is getting a bunch of carries, but teams have been stopping him now: he hasn't averaged 4 yards/carry in a game in almost a month.

At the same time, Williams is facing ATL and Johnson is facing NYJ. I think ATL's rushing D is slightly better than New York's (but I haven't looked this up. This is just my perception).

To me, fantasy football is a little bit about luck; anything can happen in a given game. It's just hard to sit Brown and Slaton for somewhat obvious reasons. I agree you don't play Willis...

I'd just flip a coin or go with your gut feel about Williams vs. Johnson, and don't kick yourself with this decision. Hopefully you have some strengths in other areas of your team where this last decision won't matter...

Williams, Slaton, & Brown.

Of course I would pick the 3 best runningbacks based on their opponents and they would all have terrible games.
