I know a bunch of you guys who are into lawn care have probably watched Ryan Knorr's videos on YouTube, and his latest video features the ISU turf crew with footage of prep inside Jack Trice Stadium. Figured I'd share it here!

That was really cool. Thanks for posting!

I like to watch Ryan’s videos, and was excited when I saw this pop up on my YouTube feed yesterday! It’s always really cool to see videos that show the prep that goes into preparing the field each game!

That would imply they’re smart enough to read GPS. If they can’t figure out a pointed finger...

Thanks, I really enjoyed this!

know what else struck me? The ground level shots that showed the rising profile of the new construction. I hadn’t thought about how that overlooks the field—which has to be intentional.

it’ll be interesting see see how that might be integrated into the NEZ expansion, ten or fifteen Campbell years from now.

I know it was about the grass, but I was hoping for a finished shot. I thought it looked really good under the lights for the OU game. Even though I like our regular colors most of the time.

I enjoyed the aerial / drone shots.

Although, it did make me wonder how many hoops had to be jumped through to get them (assuming it was an officially permitted flight), due to:
1. Sports stadium, which is generally FAA no-go zone (although obviously empty of spectators)
2. University property
3. Proximity to the airport

In other words, I'm pretty jealous!

Thanks for posting. Well done video.

Never really thought of, fully appreciated, or understood all the lines, work, and little details to get that field stuff perfect.

A lot of new found respect for the behind the scenes stuff I’ve never really thought of before.

The skycam shots during kickoffs last week also had some good angles of the SPC sightline from the field. Not exactly prime in-game seating, but makes for a good visual.
