I disagree with this. I personally don’t believe ISU would have beat Iowa but ISU has come close these past few years so there always is a chance for them to get an upset.

With your defense and the Oregon State kid at QB I'm not sure how you would think Iowa State, a top 25 team, wouldn't win there. It's not an intimidating environment even with fans

How many Big 12 players would say the Jack is a tough stadium. I’ve always been underwhelmed whenever I’ve gone to see a game.
Neither Iowa or Iowa State have intimidating environments IMO. Historic JTS at night is wild though

I've been to Kinnick many times. It's mediocre at best. Honestly it's surprising how quiet that stadium is
Kinnick at night is beyond wild and loud. I’ve only been to the Jack for day games so that may have played a role in why I think of it the way I do. Kinnick during day games is not nearly as intense as it is at night.
I've never been on game day. I've not been to a game in JT since it was bowled either, but as I understand, it's only made the place louder.
It's definitely louder at Historic Jack Trice Stadium than Kinnick
