It's well documented from Alex Halstead last year that ISU broke contact with Twiedt prior to the 2019 football season starting. It's not made up. The BS story that the kid stole something is 100% made up though.

My inside source to isu football tells me CMC’s recruiting strategy is to look and see who Air Force, Army, Buffalo and Eastern Michigan have offered in order for isu to put their recruiting board together.

This makes a little sense. ISU wants to mold their program to what Iowa does so it makes sense that Campbell may mimic the Ferentz no visit while committed policy.
I will just never wrap my mind around a grown man making up a theft rumor about any 16 year old, let alone one that the ISU coaching staff supposedly cut ties with.
