What’s dumb about this @CyTwins? The power rankings literally prove the Big 10 is the best basketball conference.
I have seen them both a lot. Really impressed with both. It looks like 247 has them both in the top 150. They are both way better than the Ellis kid going to Texas.
The Big 12 and ACC have been the best basketball leagues by far the last decade plus. I believe the Big 12 was ranked #1 in KenPom for 7 straight years until last year's shortened season
Sandfort is #163 in the comp. Don't know much about Ellis. Devries is a stud though
Devries has a great event against top talent in July which really helped his stock. Sandfort was way better in the state tourney games I watched last year.
I get that was how it was in the past, but the Big 12 has been regressing badly the past few years. The ACC is still strong but even they have had some problems. The Big 10 has been getting much stronger and tougher over the last 3-4 years and some teams have began to emerge as true contenders such as Rutgers, tOSU, and Illinois. The Big 10 also has two real Natty contenders in Iowa and Illinois while the Big 12 has 0.
Sandfort is a huge get. It could eventually help open a pipeline into Waukee which could help us potentially land Paytens younger brother along with Omaha Biliew.
The Big 12 was literally the best league in basketball in 2017-18 and 2018-19. That's assuming you're defining the last few years as the last 3 years where the Big 12 was the best 2 of those 3 years
Devries dad doesn't like Fran. I assume that's why he didn't offer but I don't think anyone knows Fran's recruiting strategy

If getting him can open the pipeline, then yes it’s a huge get. Both Payton’s brother and Omaha are top 50 player in the 2023 class and Omaha is a top 3 player.
Omaha isn't going to Iowa and hes probably not even going to college
