Lol yes they did. They know what he is capable of when he is 100% and that’s why he still was considered a good prospect.

At the end of the season he’s he was. Not 1st or 2nd round but he was on a majority of the 3rd-5th round projections.
I'm talking end of the season not mid season. He got worse as the season went on

Epenesa was looking great at that point. The only reason he wasn’t a first round pick was the combine.
He was also facing good offensive lineman. He faced Mayfield of Mich and got a sack, he faced Van Lanen of Wisconsin and got a strip sack, he faced Austin Jackson (2019 first round pick) and had 2.5 sacks and a forced fumble, he faced Faalele (6’9, 400-lb) from Minn and had a sack, and he also faced Jaimes from Nebby who a top 5 pass blocking grade in CFB and AJ destroyed him for 2.5 sacks and 4 TFL.
He also got owned by Julian Good Jones. It's not just the OL you face when the facing bad quarterbacks with no pocket awareness
Tanner Morgan is one of the best QB’s in CFB, Slovis is a stud, Coan was a good game manager, and Patterson was decent.

No he didn't. This was posted 11/3/19. He had already played his worst game of the year vs. Penn State. Was injured vs. Mid Ten, Butgers and ISU.
He played better as the year went on.
