Iowa was 34th in NET. Where is this 5 seed coming from. They were going to be a 7-9 seed
Steve Prohm went from 13 wins to a 6 seed, and you think he's awful right?

Yeah, you went 11-9 in conference play last year...Fran averages less than .500 in conference play, you play 4 less cupcakes in non-con...7 or 8 seed would be doing well. Fran has never gotten past the 2nd round of the Big Dance.

Since he has no aspirations to be in the NBA he really should go to Stanford.
Doesn't move the needle but any time Iowa gets a recruit that had another P5 offer that's a huge win for Fran
It will be like having 2 CJ Fredricks, except hopefully Sandfort is a little tougher for their sake.
CJ was a good player for them. I haven't seen Sandfort play, but his rep is more as a shooter than as a defender. I think the surprise about Fredericks last year was that he wasn't the liability on D so wasn't just the second coming of Brady Ellingson. Sandfort sounds like a nice/solid pick-up, just haven't seen him positioned as the centerpiece of a recruiting class he seems to be for Iowa. If he performs at CJ levels then Hawk fans should be ecstatic.
He'll run to a corner, play okay defense, and get bright red cheeks.
Stanford got a commit from this kid in the past week so I dont think that is an option right now for Sandfort.
