Brandon Smith, senior. Been pretty solid for us over the last few years. Had some good plays against you guys last year and some highlight TD catches until getting dinged mid-late season and sat until the bowl game.

And he is still better than anything ISU put on the field vs ULL. I will say I totally overrated the ISU WR, they looked really, really bad Saturday.

Brandon Smith averaged more catches per game than Pettway (played in 4 less games due to injury). I don't think Pettway was bad, and neither was Brandon Smith.

Yeah, probably should have come down with that one. At least it didn't cost us that game. In his defense, pass was a touch high and #2 was attached to him at the hip. From what I remember, that DB was in tight coverage all night, even on special teams.

As far as getting blown up on that jump, guess that makes it even more impressive to me. Picked up some more yards and held on to it. Sign me up.

How is that an easy touchdown catch?

Look at the ISU receivers a few days ago if you want to see drops on what should have been easy catches.
