There was a very clear shot of him talking to Purdy on the sideline. He was in sweats.

If you have been following ISU under Campbell (and everybody knows you have) if a person randomly shows up in sweats on game day it is an injury or suspension. I think it is safe to assume injury.

They also lost by 4 on a late TD and sounds like they showed more fight. Plus, they've beaten you like 9 of the last 10 times. Maybe it was just instinct. Flip them around if it makes you feel better.

You just gotta hope that isn't the real team, that they just laid an egg to start the season. I mean it is only 1 game, sure it was a turd, but nearly every team lays a turd each year, and many teams more than once actually.

Northwestern couldn't beat a noncon and won the B1G West with games, yes plural, to play 2 years ago, and last year followed it up with one of the worst offenses in collegiate football history.

All that’s really been exposed is the Big 12 by the Sun Belt
