Pretty typical, 7 longs months of smack talk by ISU fans about how great they will be, and then they shat themselves first game out. I feel pretty bad for Purdy though, goes into the season as a top 11 draft pick, and his draft stock is already in free fall. Bright side is Purdy faced the toughest D he will see all year, time to get into the defense optional Big12 play, that should help his numbers tremendously.

CMC is 1-5 vs his last 6 non conference games vs D1 opponents, with losses to ND, Washington St., Louisiana, and Iowa twice. When do you think he should start caring about non conference games?
