Also one of my favorites I have bookmarked and post everytime I get the chance.I post this video every time someone gives me an opening. It never gets old.
I agree. But the important thing is, our defense won that game. Nebby didn't piss it away - our D took it away from them.Brings back memories of watching from my living room. Each time the offense failed to score we were like "welp, it's over". Then the D would get the ball back again. One of the few games where I actually stood for nearly the entire game.
The Benny Hill theme song soundtrack made this video perfect.

@surly - our D beat their asses.

I know, but...Our defense did create a lot of those turnovers, but I can’t give us full credit for the Nebraska guy who just dropped the ball while running into the end zone. There’s no explanation for that one.
You and @benman82 are right, but even so. Let's not give Nebby or surly ANY solace...6 of those 8 turnovers were forced, the last two by the situation we put them in at the end of the game. The third turnover was extremely flukish; the fourth was because the RB got greedy and tried to get extra yards when he had been stopped and dropped the ball as a result. Every other turnover was forced, either by contact, literally ripping it out of their hands, or forcing them to play too aggressively at the end of the game.

I know. I'm just a little sensitive after 50+ years of Husker Fans' "yah, but..."You kidding? I'm agreeing with your post. Forcing 6 out of 8 turnovers and being opportunistic enough to get those other two is great defense. Let's be real - the only reason why they gained 362 yards in the first place was because our offense couldn't do jack that day. At least they didn't over complicate matters by committing mistakes themselves, or the 9-7 score would have never held up.
Such a great memory! The most hilarious part is the score was 9-7 the entire game lol. Talk about inept offense!!!
