Louisiana Kick Time?

Hoping for all 2:30 pm or later kicks this year

The joke was how it sucks on that first game waiting all day for the new season.

FWIW I don't care when they are played. Viewership should be up for the program if people just want to watch some football.

SIAP, but does anyone know if this game will be televised? (I would hope that without B1G and PAC-12, more ISU games could be televised, at least regionally.

Oh right, those UNI games always start so late. I'm with ya.

My personal preference is for later. Wife works till 1 in the afternoon on Saturdays and we just had a kid, so I can't, rather shouldn't, really start throwing back the busch lattes up until till then. Haven't watched a game dry in a decade probably.

I would assume it's televised.

You probably have to go back to 2009 to find an ISU game that wasn't televised.
Yep, aside from the cyclones.tv games you're right. And no problem there either, as long as you're a mediacom subscriber

Yes, viewership will be up. Not only are people wanting to see football, but the lack of things to do should drive up viewership as well.

Personally, if I am attending a game, I prefer ther evening. If I am watching on tv, it really doesnt matter to me what time the game starts.

I'm in the minority but I like 11 am starts for TV watching. Wake up, get some coffee and breakfast, and instant football, the enjoy the rest of the day's games or go do something else that doesn't require a schedule.

I can see why they're a pain for those traveling to the games though.

Last year we won every 11:00 game except Notre Dame so I think that is a good time for a Cyclone game. If we don't know yet today, I assume it will be Sunday before the time and tv are announced.

This should be announced soon. The TV time draft with the networks was late last week so the information should be compiled and shared soon.

I wonder if they put some contingencies in place in the event there are early cancellations. They may be holding off as long as possible to announce so they can readjust if a game is canceled.

The thought was kick times were supposed to go out today. This guy is on top of it as anyone in the country and he thinks we won’t see anything today. Now watch it will come out in a few minutes from this post!

With the Big10 not playing this fall, I'd assume we'll have more 11:00 games. In past years, they seemed to fill the morning slots with Big10 and ACC games and the Big12 had afternoon and evening. Now they have to fill all those slots with just 3 conferences. It should mean all national games without hunting to find a channel.

On a side note, how are they handling LHN or other Big12 games the Big12 teams previously owned? Will those still be available to the schools or will those be forfeited with only the single noncon game?
