You're wrong about Fant and you may be wrong about Fidone. I know he grew up a Husker but I'm sure he's feeling a pull east. We KNOW where he's not going......Ames. Campbell doesn't like wasting time on Iowa kids.
and they lose another one..
and they lose another one..
Fidone was never going to Iowa, LSU, or Michigan, Bama, ISU, ND, etc. He grew up a Debbie fan and was always going there. It’s like what happened with Epenesa. Highly rated recruit that was always going to go to the school he grew up loving. I would of loved having him at Iowa but it’s his choice. Bad business choice, but his choice. That one hurts Iowa. We had the better TE room last year and will/would have this year too. Fidone would have been a day one starter for them

I mean I said that a year ago but Iowa fans thought they had a chance. We were told here that Fidone didn't want to go to Iowa because of the competition. That he didn't want to try and battle the TE's in the room for playing time.Fidone was never going to Iowa, LSU, or Michigan, Bama, ISU, ND, etc. He grew up a Debbie fan and was always going there. They didn't want Fidone anyway.Iowa doesn't have a TE in their room that's even caught a touchdown
Iowa doesn't have a TE in their room that's even caught a touchdown
Yea, but have you seen their offer list?!They didn't want Fidone anyway.
Yes I did want Fidone. I k ew he was probably never coming because he was a Nebraska fan but I did want him. Sure, it kind of sucks he chose a team that sucks over us.They didn't want Fidone anyway.
He should have chosen LSU and guaranteed himself a good spot in the league. He's going to get drafted even though he went to Nebraska though but probably later than he would have if he went to LSU or even Michigan. He's that goodYes I did want Fidone. this can not be a real take.Quoting a HoKKKs fan, "he would have been the third best in the room so we didn't really want him"
this can not be a real take.
Name one starting TE in the league from either of those teams. Iowa would have put him in the league. Nebraska will not put him in a good spot because of the offense they run. His best bets would have been Iowa, Stanford, or Penn State if he wanted to be a first round pick and start in the NFL one day.He should have chosen LSU and guaranteed himself a good spot in the league.
