I know Iowa can't get into the Big 12 because of rules etc, but hypothetically if the Big 12 was going to take a team would Iowa even throw its hat in the ring for consideration? I honestly don't think they would. They have zero stones and the thought of having to play a full schedule with actual tough opponents unlike their usual cupcake schedule of Big10 west opponents they play in would be enough for them to say no thanks IMO.

10 years ago, I would have agreed. Not so much. Do they have pull? Heck yes. But I personally believe Oklahoma has just as much if not more than them now. Oklahoma is in full control of being our conferences flagship school
