Good to see in addition to putting down black players they built up the self-importance of the chosen "doing it the Iowa way" players.
Yeah I also can't tell if he's speaking about one specific comment, but "hats, earrings, and music choice" are not the reasons why these players were speaking out. Those were small little tidbits. Pat's either making fun of that little tidbit, or he's using that as a generalization of how he feels about this entire issue. I hope it's not the latter because he'd look very ignorant.
@Statefan10 made the comment that if he wasn't good enough to play, why did KF want him to stick around.
Of course Kirk wanted him to stick around, that wasn't exactly what I said. I asked why was Kirk not letting him leave. Those are two different statements. @TrianglePlace
Which is kind of interesting because she was very pro Kirk/ program up until a few days ago.
I've mentioned it before that every fanbase has a load of fans that are idiots and sometimes make the entire fanbase look bad, but you rarely see them all come out at once. We're seeing that right now and if you don't think during a time like this there are players / recruits reflecting on that, you'd be wrong.
Oh VERY pro-Kirk, but that was when he was feeding the bulls*** talking points about change and everything. That was right away. A lot of people are seeing Kirk through an entire different light now.
Oh Kirk has got to be livid with her. Check this retweet from her. The Alabama players and Saban nail it. This is what Kirk needed to do. This ship has sailed. Honestly that video gave me a chill.
Akrum literally mentioned he was receiving counseling at the University and then one day he went there and that counselor was no longer there and he was unable to reach her.
