Iowa Football Recruiting

I am fully aware of that. But when I questioned Wright's 5.01 40 speed I was told that was a HS time and he's working hard to improve it. Evidently that doesn't apply to this kid.

Honest question. Does Iowa have a fast back on their roster? Goodson and Sargent are slow but I'm not sure who else they have

I'm sure BAMA, Oregon, LSU, Ohio State, USC, Florida, Miami, Florida State, and Washington all beg to differ.

Even if every one of those programs have a better DB coach it would still make Phil one of the best in the nation. He's had at least one DB drafted in 2000, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2017, 2019, and 2020.

Sorry.

Well I'm sure both guys are trying to improve their speed, but only one of these two plays a position where it's more important to be fast.
Shaw ran a 4.5 40 last summer. That's not slow for a 16 yr old hs kid. Probably more important than his 100 time of 11.55. My point is that the kid is not slow. Might not be a burner but calling him slow is stupid.

If you are going to try to convince me that Phil can turn Riley Moss into a draft pick, you are wasting your breath.

Yeah I wasn't calling him slow. Just saying comparing the speed between the RB position and the QB position is flawed.

You never answered my question.. Do you think Kirk should be fired and do you think he's at blame at all here?

And the Kyle Whittingham situation is insanely different and you know it. Coach Whittingham said he learned about this text message when everyone else did. We'll see if that's true or not. If he knew about it before and lied, then I would have no problem with having the discussion about his future as their head coach.

Utah has had what, 2 players come out against one single coach stemming from two separate but similar accusations? Yeah, they'll need to get about 65 more players with comments made against multiple coaches, including the head coach. That situation is bad, but not even close to as bad as Iowa's s*** show.

I said KF shouldn't be fired with what we know now but am willing to change my mind depending on what the investigation shows.

Utah has a DC that has admitted to using the N word at least once and is also accused of calling a former player that. Wittingham should have known about this since it happened while the DC was on his staff, right?

The DC was suspended with pay and that's it.

Please compare BF’s actions to those of the Utah DC?

Honestly couldn't care less what you think about Moss. You trying to deny that Phil is easily one of the best in the country is just funny. Sad and transparent, but still funny.

Whittingham said this was the first time he's heard of this. They immediately launched an investigation of these 2 incidents. If they find Whittingham knew about this, he should be held accountable. I'm willing to admit that Whittingham would be at fault for these two separate incidents, however with over 60 separate incidents you still admit you do not think Kirk should be fired.

The fact that you're using a whataboutism to try and somehow prove me in the wrong is hilarious. I mean what more has to happen under Kirk's watch for you to think he shouldn't be there? A rape allegation? Welp, check that one off the list? Putting athletes in the hospital via a workout? Check. Years of berating, bullying and even racial disparities within a culture? Check.

You're trying to sound ethical by admitting you would want Kirk fired, however only if his actions are disgusting enough in your eyes. The fact that you don't think any of what I mentioned above is disgusting enough proves everyone's entire point on how some fans are acting during this situation.

Please stop pretending you care about race issues when all you really care about is whether or not the Iowa football program goes down.
Way to avoid the question. Shift the narrative. I honestly only care about the hawkeyes when they play ISU. Now I do care a bit because they are giving the state some bad attention and making all of us look bad.

There hasn't been 60 separate incidents brought to light, come on.

A lot of the accusations that have been brought up by 60ish former players revolve around the same thing (dress code, feeling uncomfortable, Doyle, etc.).

Just a guess but probably 50 of the 60ish former players that have said something are saying the same thing.
