Melvin Gordon? Interesting, I never heard that story before. Why didn't he end up coming to Iowa? Was his offer pulled cause he is black or did Kirk's no visit policy strike again?

Interesting list, thanks for participating. I don't closely follow Iowa recruiting so I honestly couldn't put together a list for themselves, but I'm curious how you leave Lazard off your list? Because I never said the kid had to one time be committed to Iowa (but I understand why you did it that way) just that Iowa was in the running deep and it was thought he might end up there. I feel like Lazard is/has been one of the better receivers to come from the state as he is in the NFL now, he's from Iowa, and Iowa was clearly the premier school during that time. Granted, it is your list and your opinion, just my thoughts though
Iowa's players got in a fight in the locker room and got booed off the field at half vs Penn State on his visit and he flipped

His visit was for the 2010 Iowa vs Wisconsin game when Iowa lost on the late fake punt by Wisconsin. The fight happened in the locker room after this game.
Iowa beat PSU that year fairly easily.

Hasn’t announced yet but feeling pretty good with this one. Already has a former teammate who was on campus last year and has one who just recommitted. Hope to get one of his other HS teammates, a 6 ft corner who has offers from other P5 schools.

DJK was a druggie and when Gordon came for a visit he saw DJK fighting with someone among other things.
