Iowa Football Recruiting

What I would expect with the best tight ends in the country, elite qb, stud rb, best wr’s in the state, top defense in the conference (tallest little person).
Autowins: UNLV, South Dakota, Iowa, West Virginia, Texas Tech, Kansas, Kansas State, Baylor, TCU

Should win: Texas, Oklahoma State

Toss up: Oklahoma
I'd put OSU in the toss-up category.

Alot of the autowins will be dependent on how good the Oline is and who's available week to week (in regards to COVID)

Dropping down from UNI to South Dakota should help some.

So, 10 wins or bust right? Crazy how bad of a recruiting class CMC is putting together with all of this National attention.

FWIW- I also think your basketball program can get to 10 wins now.

You think Brock Purdy is elite?

If you guys don't get ten wins this year it may never happen. According to many here you have an elite qb and skill position players. Your defense is the best in the league. Your coaching staff is awesome. The stars should be aligned for the first time in the history of the program. Unless of course, your qb isn't as good as you think he is or your skill positions aren't as good as you think they are or your defense is overrated or your coaching staff is overrated.

Especially tough when you pretty much just write off one of your non-con games as a loss each year.

I prefer CMC and his approach to the game. Kirk spends so much time prepping for Iowa State he apparently doesn't even know what's going on in his own program

CMC spends so much time prepping for K-State that he loses to Iowa?

1. Davidkov -- No competition for the top slot. Looks amazing.
2/3. Freyler/Dejean -- Both equally exciting S prospects in their own ways.
4. Keegan Johnson -- With the idea that he could end up as DB, where he looks elite.
5. Labas -- Admittedly I don't know A from B, but his film looks really good to me.
6. Silas -- Intellectually he's too small etc, but his film is super-exciting.
7. Liddle -- State champ wrestler. Rock.
8. Colby -- Probably too low because he looks good, but Davidkov looks like an animal.
9. Stephens -- Strong and powerful. Maybe better on the inside of the line.
10. Brown -- I'm a sucker for the former QBs. Skills plus body.
I think is Silas gets to 190/195 range, he will be very hard to tackle. He's 5'6".

Purdy has played less than 2 seasons. I mean I'm all for the Romo comparison though. He was a 3 time conference player of the year winner in college
Purdy is a better version of Romo. And you have a freshman all american at RB. He seems like a better version of Ladainian Tomlinson.
