Tough day for EIU hoops hopes

I didn't say he asked it, he said he didn't know what they were. Dumb thing to get hung up on by you.
That's not what I'm hung up on. You're attempting to prop that recruiting class up as "all three stars" as if that somehow helps the fact that no one else wanted these guys.

But I know it's useless arguing with you.

Why are you such a ****?

I did some research and the Prohm implosion of the ISU basketball program is real. I was told if ISU could get Smith and Gach and have Harris becoming immediately eligible that ISU could possibly be a NCAA team. As it stand I'm guessing it is yet another year for ISU being left out of even the NIT.

Bump

There's 36 total recruits on 247 who grade out below a 3 star. Bowen Born is one of them.

Basically no P5 recruits grade below a 3 star this day in age in recruiting rankings.

That's pretty bad giving the 411th rated recruit a 3 star status.

The comparison between the Iowa basketball recruiting class and Iowa State’s football recruiting class is actually spot on. Never really thought of that before.

Well one was recruiting class was constructed under completely normal recruiting and evaluation circumstances and the other has largely taken place under the conditions of a global pandemic where player evaluations by national services are based on pure speculation.

Aside from that, sure.

Lol I would love to hear you explain how

Both classes are filled primarily with guys that other P5/P6 programs didn’t want. Both classes will end up towards the bottom of their respective conferences. Both coaches are good at identifying under-recruited players and developing them into players that play above their recruiting pedigree.

I’m not sure you could find a more similar comparison.
