How was that "trying to be clever"? It was factual. If it was personal reasons wouldn't they just state that? Why not have someone else from the university there?

You have to admit Iowa has years of horrendous PR.
The Hawks want you to feel bad for their administration.

If Barta is sick I wish nothing but the best for him.

If Barta is unable to do his job than
They don't believe that. They're smarter than that they just don't care, don't think it constitutes punishment, or both.

They know it's true and they are probably okay with the culture also as long as they are winning.

I know the type of guy Coach Ferentz is, he's a man of integrity"
I'd be rich if I got a dollar every time I've seen or heard that line from Iowa fans. Kirk lost all integrity when these allegations came forward. If Kirk had an ounce of integrity, he would not have let those types of things happen under his watch.

Has anyone really called out or gone after the local media for the fluffing they did Friday? I'm not on twitter so wasn't sure.
I'll give credit to Stansbury. He took them to task pretty well on the Saturday Morning Pregame show on KXNO.
Called out a lot of the same things we've all been seeing/saying.

CW and Blum made a few comments on their Sunday pod.

I haven't seen much anywhere else.

You mean he didn't lose all integrity over Aiello/Beutjer? Satterfield/Everson? Section 8? Rhabdo? Dude's covered up more **** than a January snow storm.

Not one media entity asked the obvious question after that presser: "Why won't KKKirk apologize?"

that story seems kind of whack with the breathalyzer vs urine story. I’ve heard of blood testing but never urine testing for an OWI situation.
.....Once a driver is under arrest for OWI, the officer generally gets to decide whether to request a breath, blood, or urine test. Though a driver who agrees to take a breath or urine test can typically refuse a blood test without penalty. The test must be requested within two hours after the PBT is administered, refused, or the arrest is made, whichever occurs first. If the officer fails to request a chemical test within that time frame, a driver isn’t required to submit to any test....
