So if a kid were to be bullied at school to such a degree that he or she committed suicide you're telling me that isn't as despicable as the Penn St tragedy?

Umm. Because the answer for $100 is:

(1) racism
(2) bullying
(3) sexual assault
(4) fan bases defending any of above

His experience as a black player? Yes, I completely dismiss it. The fact that he feels the need to defend Doyle because he “thinks” that he suffered equally as a black man, or that you repeat it as some kind of justification demonstrates the ignorance of you, many of your fan base, and apparently some of the white players on the team.

Kluver lives in the same bubble as you. You seriously think their experiences were the same based on one anecdote? You and he are a big part of the problem. Time for you and he to do some self reflection.

The founder of a new site called Hawk Fanatic, which is cool, I’m not going to flame on the name. You gotta do what you gotta do sometimes I guess and I certainly wish him well on his endeavor.

Anyway, his latest tweet broke me.

One thing I’ve noticed is how weak and toothless the administration and even the faculty is at U of I when it comes to anything related to the football program. Complete impotence.
 
It appears that an overwhelming majority of hawk fans idolize the black players for a few hours each fall weekend. After that they want them to go away and be quiet or get smeared.

Again.........nobody is defending. Do you think that members of the Iowa staff should spend the rest of their days rotting in a prison cell? There is no Jerry Sandusky here. It's not the same. Losing jobs is not the same as life in prison.

Did I state that they weren't all wrong. They are. Chris Doyle is not Jerry Sandusky. Things he said and did were wrong. He should lose his job but not spend his life is prison. Thank goodness no African American player has ever experienced anything similar at ISU.
