Kirk Ferentz getting sued for being racist

You said Harris was the only one that named KF as part of the problem. He built a culture were players knew they were expected to conform and going to "the boss" just lead to digging a deeper hole.

Do you really think Kirk can survive and Iowa will be able to successfully bring in AA players?

I banking he can't, so as I've stated prior the football fan in me hope's you retain every damn one of them.

He's agreed multiple times where KF was the problem though

He's lost it
Literally no other Hawk fan is coming close to posting like he is. They log on and check things out but for the most part are smart enough to not post the **** he is, and some of those guys are trolls, that's how bad Benji is.

That’s not even close to what I said. I said Harris is the only player who has accused KF of outwardly racist acts, such as punishing a black player until he puked blood for literally no reason at all or spitting in the direction of a black player for listening to rap music. Those claims are so far beyond the rest of the allegations, and the way that other black athletes have described KF, that they are difficult to take seriously.

Yes, I think Iowa can survive and can continue to bring in black athletes. I think Iowa can spin this as a positive on the recruiting trail, and having young, black assistant coaches like Kelton Copeland, Kelvin Bell, Lavar Woods, and Derrick Foster, and (likely) a black head S&C coach in Raymond Braithwaite will help them further that narrative.

Having Braithwaite as your next S&C coach would be laughable

It was either Woods or Bell that was on the radio a week ago and he was talking about recruiting and the difference in life between Mississippi (I believe that's where he said he's from) and Iowa. He did a good job of giving perspective of how life is different in the South and North and how he conducts himself.

(This is your reminder that I hate everything Iowa)

That was Bell. He’s a former player under KF and started off as the recruiting coordinator before working his way up to a positional coach. He’s an impressive dude.

The HN message board is absolutely brutal. If I was an Iowa fan I would pray no recruits or their families take a glance at it. Are there only white people from rural areas that post there?

I'm sorry I don't have much to add to the conversation.

I just wanted to say I'm very thankful that I've never had to go on a rival's message board and type hundreds of posts defending the racist coach of my favorite team. I truly do feel sorry for anyone that has been put in that situation by the racist coach of their favorite team. I feel worse for humanity that there are people that actually do defend the racist coach of their favorite team.

Again...I'm very thankful that I've never had to go on a rival's message board and type hundreds of posts defending the racist coach of my favorite team.

I was curious to see what the lead time was for the pretend neutral Iowa sports media to get on their knees and open wide. It was 7 days.

I’m looking at you Fales and Murphy. How does it taste?

Sounds like this has really changed KF for the better.

I mean... when asked if those 50+ players that came forward saying it was like walking on eggshells in the football facility everyday if you were black deserved an apology.... KF flat out said no today.

What a changed man! So proud of KF!!!

The team will be so much more unified this season, am I right??

Oh.... and the media questions were beyond pathetic too. It looks like nothings changed there either going forward. They all just bow down before KF.

One other thing.... where was Barta and Harreld at today? I guess the football people will just handle everything in house like they always have.

Been offline all day but from the summary in the Register and a few comments I scrolled through (I'll never catch up so I'm not going to bother) it sounds like this press conference was just a big nothingburger that local media happily ate up?
