You think you’re not guilty of confirmation bias? Many of the Iowa State posters on this site would believe anything anyone said about the Iowa football program right now, as long as it painted them in a negative light. Seriously...there were people on here talking about how damning and revelatory it was that Wadley’s mom revealed that Ferentz hates mixed couples. All it would have taken was five seconds to stop and think how ridiculous and obviously made up that claim is, but many here bought it hook, line and sinker.
Scott Siepker even acknowledged that if this was at Clemson or Alabama they would be viewing this completely different. Then proceeded to say that they know Kirk and that he can fix this.

The local media in central Iowa..not all...but most...are spineless.
How?? He doesn't even know what is wrong, because he even said he hasn't listened to the accusations.
He actually took full responsibility for the entire situation, and said that as head coach everything falls back onto him. Are there actually people on this website who are saying he refused to admit he made a mistake? Because that would be a pretty stupid conclusion to draw from that presser.
They'll try to paint you as a Cyclone shill. When actually the worst thing that could happen to Iowa is let them get their way by continuing to employ a racist staff.

When you admit you make a mistake, you generally apologize to those you wronged. Kirk said he had no reason to apologize.
Iowa fans, university & athletic department administration, and most local media are all going to either say nothing happened or that it was in the past and has been fixed. So ultimately nothing will change other than Kirk telling his staff to be careful not to be blatant racists and some lip service to racial equality. Other than that some negative recruiting against them on the topic and that'll be it. Doyle will be back by the kickoff of the season.
I understand that, I was talking in the context of KF being the HC. Nothing about his time in Iowa City as an assistant is even on the radar.
Do you have children? This is the equivalent of when you make one kid apologize to the other, and they walk over, stand 5 feet away, whisper sorry, and run away.
Those were questions only in the sense they ended with a question mark. There was no real attempt to obtain meaningful answers, though.
