He was "choking up" later also during an odd question so you know he was trying to turn it on.
Hopefully but I thought this would’ve led nationally Monday and haven’t heard much of all on the national landscape.
The national media does a lot of their work on the back of what local media is doing. If local media ignores it there's less for national media to work with
The ball washing taking place on KXNO right now is gross. NONE of what was said today changes any of the accusations or issues that have surfaced. Jesus, wake TF up.
Apparently the media won't ask questions for fear of losing their press passes? Has anyone ever challenged that in court? Seems odd that a public institution can tell press members to stay out.
So let me make sure I didn't miss anything. The ONLY mistake he actually acknowledged was how he handled the Twitter ban. And that was for the players protection.
If the Fales, Downs, Iowa beat writers, etc. want to call it good after this press conference so be it. But miss me with any faux outrage over any other matter like this going forward with other schools. If this were any other school they'd be all over it, and I guarantee that.

Only way this does move on is if the former players continue to pursue, otherwise, it has been handled with the current player and the way forward.

I suspect it’s probably a little embarrassing for local media to not realize this was going on. I think Andy is a bright guy, but he may not be seeing things objectively at the moment.
So one of the players mentioned how different the feel was already. I wonder what's different, maybe someone's not there right now? Wonder how it's going to feel when that someone is brought back with no real accountability.
She overplayed being an African American Female. If she had just been African American or just a female, more credible. But throwing both things at this just looks bad.
