The fact that Kirk gave Doyle a made up award after he seriously injured and hospitalized 14 players, shows me that Kirk holds just as much blame than Doyle in a lot of these situations.

If Brian Kelly gets canned for not elevating his program, Stoops will be the head coach at Notre Dame in 2 years.
In Notre Dame's last three seasons, they are 33-6. Two years ago they went undefeated until playing Clemson in the playoff. It's ridiculous Brian Kelly is even talked about being fired.
I can't help but wonder what the Pre-PostGame Group might be able to do with this information. Might help them get a running start on their work. Who knows, they might even have connections to help it make the rounds more quickly on social media. I wonder if Wadley's mom has already seen it, and passed it along to them.

All in all, Stoops isn't going to go to a school like Iowa, ( a school that has a terrible racist image now - any big name coach would be a fool to go there), he'll be going to a blueblood in the sport if he ever comes back.
I would be incredibly surprised if Stoops ever came back. I think the closest he'll come back to CFB is a consultant with OU.

You got me all wrong. I wanted to be certain I knew what the other person was saying. I am not a Hawk supporter at all. I think Kirk should be fired along with his spawn and Doyle. As someone said a few posts ago, the guy that called in yesterday during Murph and Andy was all about "but he didn't say the N word so he isn't racist." Just making sure I am understanding everything correctly.
Doesn't Iowa have the NDS old HC on Staff? Or was he the OC there. Only way I could see stoops even consider is what one other poster said and he would take his 5MM to be HC for one season and not do anything but pull 5 MM for about 4 months of work.
Heard they are former players that will attest to Kirk being excessively caring for the players. Names are Steven, James, and Brian.
Whether Kirk stays or goes I can't see any scenario where Brian becomes the next head coach at this point. My prediction is that they let Kirk "ride off into the sunset" after this season and then the whole thing gets torn apart.
Three kids saying they haven't experienced any of the issues claimed by the others clearly negates those that have spoken out. All will be forgotten.
If KF, BF, Doyle, Barta, etc. are all fired, how is the Iowa program a “mess”? They would have rid the program of all the alleged bad actors, and would still have a lot of talent on the roster.
I HIGHLY doubt those players are going to talk about their specific experiences with the team, rather they will talk about what's being done now to change the culture.
He's got a damn good point... Kirk needs character witnesses with him to make a public statement. Pretty embarrassing.

The program itself will be a mess. Do you know what happens when entire staffs get cleaned out? Players are able to leave immediately. Sure you'll have some that stay, maybe even some talented guys, but you're going to have a lot of players that do not want to stick around to wait and see who the next coach is going to be and how that person is now going to run things.
