Kirk Ferentz getting sued for being racist

Found another possible burner account. This one's bad. He tweeted at Akrum after Akrum replied to Howe telling him thank you. This is what he tweeted at Wadley:

"Akrum, make sure you check your Facebook messages. U bounced all a sudden. You know who this is"

Also that JadeDFW burner is back.

"I really hope @HawkeyeFootball and @hawkeyenation notices that @RobHoweHN has liked this and multiple other tweets saying that this is a burner account for a coach in the Iowa football program. More wild conspiracy and irresponsible from a journalist. Shameful."

i appreciate the bind Rob is in but this is assuming that every program has a bunch of racist ******** in charge.
The entire Iowa media and fanbase is more proud their program is going to stop being systematically racist than they are mad at those directly involved with creating a program that is in fact systematically racist.

In the comment section of the screen shot someone put up earlier, one lady said they were going to go to the ACLU and the EEOC, so as much as Iowa fans and the Iowa media want this all to be forgotten.. I'm sorry to say that this story is not going anywhere from some time.

Pretty sure the first audio posted in this thread tagged Shannon Sharpe and Bomani Jones, among others. At the very least, its going to be brought up in the morning news cycle from all the talking heads in sports journalism. It won't go away until they take some sort of action.

Can you acknowledge this much for me...

At it's very BEST this situation unveils a pattern of athletes, particularly black athletes, that felt targeted, bullied and disrespected by assistant coaches, namely Chris Doyle and Brian Ferentz. And again, at BEST, this was not racially motivated but perceived as such by some athletes and Kirk Ferentz was unaware of this sentiment from players over the course of the last two decades.

I would argue that based on the facts we know, that this "best case" scenario could be considered a grounds for termination based on lack of oversight and culture of players who felt bullied and disrespected with in the program.

Yes, I can agree with most of this. I think that what this all boils down to is this - Doyle (and to a lesser extent Brian) have said a few racist/racially insensitive things, the coaches in general bully the players and are really tough on them, and the strictness of the program make it such that black athletes don’t feel comfortable to be themselves when around the coaches.

All of that stuff is very bad, and needs to be fixed immediately. However, the vast majority of players have said they don’t want anyone fired, they just want things to change. Ferentz is still running the program like he did 20 years ago, and today’s players are making it known that they aren’t okay with that anymore. Some of the posters on here are making it seem like Iowa’s coaches are virulent racists, which is beyond ridiculous.

Just started listening to KXNO 5 minutes ago. They cover this at all or they still trying to ignore?
They talked about it for a while, but it was mainly a KF luv fest. Talked a lot about how they know him, he's a great guy, horrible if his legacy ended this way, national media doesn't know him, blah blah blah...

Bomani Jones already made a comment today about it.

Have they said they don’t want anyone fired? Or have they just not said anything in terms of firings?

Lol the whole "they're racist but not virulent racists" angle you keep spewing is such a bad look

Well he apparently raises a real ******* in Brian, who might also be a ******* racist. And not only did he raise him, he enabled him by giving him a job.

The KF is a saint line of thinking around this state is real annoying.

It's the exact same line of thinking people had for Joe Paterno and Urban Meyer. "He's a good guy" "His employee was the problem not him" blah, blah, blah.
