This is a perfect storm. If this happened last summer, it gets some play here, one story on ESPN and then back to What will Tom Brady do next year.
Now, you have a society that is fed up with having their lives turned upside down, social upheaval not seen since 1968 and no real sports stories for the sports media industry to make a living on.
I don't sense Iowa leadership or fan base understands exactly what kind of powder keg they are sitting on. I don't think you can approach this from a logical/reasonable standpoint. Has anyone seen any sign of logical or reasonableness in the last 90 days?
This thing is on a rocket and who knows where it is going or when it will explode. I do know I can't look away.
This is the first I have ever heard of this so will be interested to see if this is true.
KF has two daughters, one was in college back back in the early part of the KF era. She went to Michigan when Iowa beat UM in 2003.
The other is married to Tyler Barnes.

I can see a scenario where Doyle and GarBar are the sacrificial lambs, everybody else survives.
She says Akrum called her after plenty of interviews telling her that Ferentz told him exactly what to say and did not want him to speak his own words.
