What were the multiple instances? We already knew about Brian making the ski mask joke. Is it the claims that black players weren’t allowed to date white women, or that Kirk Ferentz hated racially mixed couples? If you believe that, I’m pretty sure you’re the one that is brainwashed, not me.
He's literally spending his day and nights defending a racist. It's sad and sickening
I think he started to use it when you said his grammar was identical to cp84 like we all don't know that's who he is
1. Watch the damn video. She brought up multiple instances in which the Iowa program was disgusting towards their players and not just her son.
2. The fact that you're calling what Brian said to Akrum a "joke", means that you yourself don't understand the problem that has been happening at Iowa and is the current topic nationally.
3. She never said that the African American players were not allowed to date white women, she said they did not like it. But you would know that if you would have watched the damn video.
Here's why I know you don't care about any of these allegations. This mother of a player who was the best player on Iowa a couple years ago is coming out and speaking about the racial injustices within your favorite program. You haven't even bothered to watch it! Don't tell me you haven't had time because you're on here arguing about a video you didn't even watch!
I was going to remark upon how impressed I have been with Iowa fan's ability to bury his head in the sand on this, but then I turn on Murph & Andy and they basically ignore all of what is going on which is typical of the Iowa media in general.

At it's very BEST this situation unveils a pattern of athletes, particularly black athletes, that felt targeted, bullied and disrespected by assistant coaches, namely Chris Doyle and Brian Ferentz. And again, at BEST, this was not racially motivated but perceived as such by some athletes and Kirk Ferentz was unaware of this sentiment from players over the course of the last two decades.
I would argue that based on the facts we know, that this "best case" scenario could be considered a grounds for termination based on lack of oversight and culture of players who felt bullied and disrespected with in the program.
In the comment section of the screen shot someone put up earlier, one lady said they were going to go to the ACLU and the EEOC, so as much as Iowa fans and the Iowa media want this all to be forgotten.. I'm sorry to say that this story is not going anywhere from some time.
I think the most that happens is Doyle gets fired over this. Not sure that does much to solve the problem but it will be enough to get the heat off of them.
From a pure competitive standpoint it may be the best possible outcome for ISU. Doyle will be gone, and many have credited the success of the program to him as much, if not more, than Ferentz. Plus this stink is going to follow them around in recruiting circles as long as Ferentz is there. Give me 3 or 4 more lame duck years under Ferentz, and hopefully Barta will still be around to hire his replacement.

I don't think any of us care about the competitive stand point at this point. That program needs to be ripped to the ground and that's only going to be done by cleaning the entire staff out.
I see Ferentz announcing that he'll retire at the end of this season. Probably sometime before the middle of the season. Might try a Bill Snyder power move to keep his kids employed after he's gone.
