Kirk Ferentz getting sued for being racist

If the early reports had been about Doyle and any other assistant he could have just removed them/put them on leave and said we need to do better. But he can't/won't do that with Brian so Kirk has gotten pulled in more and more as this has stretched on. In crisis management you have to get ahead of it to limit damage.

KF has two daughters, one was in college back back in the early part of the KF era. She went to Michigan when Iowa beat UM in 2003.

The other is married to Tyler Barnes.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure Joanne was attending U of I and college aged when DJK was a student at U of I.

I still get a kick out of the concept that "Kirk didn't know" is some kind of mitigating factor. If he truly didn't know this was going on, that's a problem in-and-of itself.

Just remember that Kirk couldn’t remember where his son was living. That tells you he is always CYA mode.

KF did try to get a head of it at his press conference just three days ago by looking right into the camera and having the gall to still confirm he’s NEVER in his ENTIRE 21 tenure had ANY PLAYER or PLAYERS PARENTS bring up ANY racial issues to him that he just couldn’t recall.

He had a semi chance and he just couldn’t help himself and still doubled down in a show of disturbing striking live arrogance.

Yep. I'm predicting if KF isn't gone within a week, then Wadley's mom and others will be launching a relentless PR campaign against the Hawks until he resigns or is fired. U of I will lawyer up, and then the ACLU will lawyer up to counter, and it will continue to escalate. Regardless if KF stays or goes, the Hawks are going to be knocked down a few rungs.

She has them all. She's been working on all of this for 2 1/2 years.
